To support a more circular energy system centered on energy efficiency
To accelerate the electrification of energy demand, based on an energy system aligned with the European taxonomy
To promote renewable and low-carbon fuels, including hydrogen, for hard-to-decarbonize sectors
I-Sinergys: the smart integration of energy systems
The primary objective of the project is the development of the IT infrastructure I-Sinergys (Infrastructure for a Smart INtegration of EneRGY Systems), designed to enable network interoperability among the various DENERG laboratories (both physical and virtual, within an Internet of Labs – IoL framework).
The platform will operate not only within DENERG but will also provide services externally, acting as both a back-end and front-end interface for students (virtual lab), researchers from other universities, and a range of stakeholders such as companies, institutions, and local communities.
